Location/Directions:
The Pyle Center is located on the UW campus at 702 Langdon Street.  The campus is about 15 minutes from Dane County Regional Airport.  You can also arrive at Chicago O'Hare, Chicago Midway, Milwaukee’s Mitchell Field Airport, or other regional airports and drive to Madison (from O'Hare about 2 1/2-3 hours).  Additionally, buses run from these airports to the UW campus.

To access campus from the south/east: Hwy 90 to west 12/18 (signs clearly posted).  From 12/18 go north on S. Park Street, which crosses all major streets into downtown, including Washington, Johnson, University, and Langdon.  Park dead ends on campus next to the Union Theatre.  (Signs to UW campus are clearly posted.)

To access campus from the airport:  Exit the airport and turn left (south) on Packers Avenue, which eventually turns into Johnson and then Gorham Streets.  Gorham goes directly to campus and turns into University Avenue.  (Signs to UW campus are clearly posted.)

Restaurants & Sights:
Campus-Area Dining Guide

Reservations for dinner are recommended, and for the most popular places on the list, it’s best to reserve a few days in advance (I’ve included the phone numbers of these popular restaurants (area code 608)). Restaurants on State Street with street addresses in the 400s, 500s, and 600s are closer to the Lowell Inn, Friederick Center, and Howard Johnson’s. Those on State Street with lower numbers are closer to the capitol but not more than a mile or so from the Howard Johnson and Lowell.
