| This cross-curricular training, which has been offered every semester since January 1997, is a series of interactive workshops designed to complement the course-specific training your department may already provide for TAs in Comm-B courses. We will focus on issues common to instructors in all Comm-B courses, such as understanding the goals and requirement for Comm-B courses, developing effective strategies for teaching writing and speaking within your discipline, and designing effective communication assignments. |
