Grading, Books, etc...

Final grades will be calculated in the following way: 

Short papers - 40%
Final exam - 30%
Group project - 15%
Class participation - 15% (5% attendance, 10% in-class discussion)

Grading Scale for Exams and Assignments

A: 93 - 100
AB: `   88 - 92
B: `   82 - 87
BC: `   78 - 81
C: `   70 - 77
D: `   60 - 69
F: `   0-59

Additional required readings are available through the reserve readings for Journalism 662 (a part of College Library’s electronic reserves).
