Basic Attitudes and Demographics Questionnaire

Questionnaire results

J-Schoolers:

As the school's "Access and Accommodation Resource Coordinator," I act as liaison with McBurney on disability issues.   The AARC people have developed language about accommodating  students with disabilities that you may wish to include on your syllabi.  (Since the statements are redundant, I guess you choose option 1 or 2.)   This is suggested language only; it's not a requirement.

Susie

Suggested language:

1. If you have a documented disability and wish to discuss academic accommodations, please contact me as soon as possible.

2. Students who are requesting any accommodations on the basis of disability should schedule an office appointment with me as soon as possible/within the first three weeks of the semester. Please schedule this office appointment by (indicate your preferred method for communication: email, phone call, office secretary, etc.) To maintain the confidentiality of your request, please do not approach me before or after class to discuss your accommodation needs.
