As the school's "Access and Accommodation Resource Coordinator,"
I act as liaison with McBurney on disability issues.
The AARC people have developed language about accommodating
students with disabilities that you may wish to include on your
syllabi. (Since the statements are redundant, I guess
you choose option 1 or 2.) This is suggested language
only; it's not a requirement.

Suggested language:
1. If you have a documented disability and wish to discuss
academic accommodations, please contact me as soon as possible.
2. Students who are requesting any accommodations on
the basis of disability should schedule an office appointment
with me as soon as possible/within the first three weeks of
the semester. Please schedule this office appointment by (indicate
your preferred method for communication: email, phone call,
office secretary, etc.) To maintain the confidentiality of your
request, please do not approach me before or after class to
discuss your accommodation needs.
