1st Short Paper Due.

Amitabh Pal, Managing Editor The Progressive Magazine.

Amitabh Pal is the Managing Editor of The
Progressive, a political monthly founded in 1909 by Governor and Senator
"Fighting Bob" La Follette, and based for all these years in Madison. He
has conducted several interviews for the magazine, including with the
Dalai Lama and Mikhail Gorbachev, and has written many features and
reviews for the publication. Before becoming the Managing Editor, he was
the Editor of the Progressive Media Project, an affiliate of The
Progressive that distributes opinion columns to more than 350 newspapers
in the United States and abroad. His op-eds have been published in
newspapers such as the Miami Herald, the Toronto Star, the Philadelphia
Inquirer, and the Houston Chronicle.
