Membership Notice

 The 2009 cost of membership in the Hagiography Society, which includes a subscription to both the newsletter and the annual directory and bibliography, will remain the same as in 2006-2008 for most members, but will go down slightly for overseas members who receive our publications by email. Overseas members should pay close attention to the highlighted details below.

•            for regular members in North America, $15 US for one year, $40 US for 3 years, or the equivalent of $17 or $42 US in Canadian dollars;

•            for student members in North America: $7.50 US per year, or the equivalent of $9.50 US in Canadian $;

•            for regular members overseas who need printed copies of our publications: $18 US for one year, $48 US for 3 years, or the equivalent of $20 or $50 US in another currency

•            for student members overseas who need printed copies of our publications: $9 US per year or the equivalent of $11 US in another currency

•            for regular members overseas who use email: $15 US for one year, $40 US for three years, or the equivalent of $17 or $42 US in another currency [i.e., the same as the North American rates]

•            for student members overseas who use email: $7.50 US per year or the equivalent of $9.50 US in another currency [same as the North American rates]

The following payment options exist:

•            Checks (on U.S. banks only) or money orders in US dollars;

•            Cheques (on Canadian banks only) in Canadian dollars;

•            Cheques in any other widely traded currency, so long as they are drawn on a bank that normally uses that currency. That is, we can accept cheques written in pounds sterling (on British banks only), Euros (on banks from European Monetary Union countries only), Australian dollars (on Australian banks only), etc.

•            NEW OPTION: Payments by credit card, using PayPal. If you would like to pay by this method, please email Sherry for details– slreames@wisc.edu .                                          

All cheques and money orders should be made payable to "Hagiography Society" and mailed to Prof. Sherry L. Reames, Dept. of English, Univ. of Wisconsin, 600 North Park Street, Madison, WI 53706.

Please help us keep administrative costs and headaches down by paying your dues by 30 September 2009.
